I walked into the room. My body trembles. I see the police officer lady standing there by 2 people. One of them is a big tall muscular man with short black hair and brown eyes. He smiles softly at me.
The other one is a beautiful lady. Long blonde hair. Really bright. She has bright blue eyes. Small slim nose. She's shorter but still so much taller than me. The man looks so scary. The police lady speaks, "Darling. This is your father and sister, ok? They'll take care of you from now on."
I tilt my head. Father? Sister? I only remember my life here. I don't remember anything else. The beautiful woman kneels down next to me. "Hello Angel." I look up at her. "Angel?" I whisper.
She nods. "Yes darling. Your name is Angel. I'm Elizabeth. You can call me Lizard. Dad always calls me that." Lizard? That's cute. I've never heard that word before. I nod. The man steps forward and kneels down next to Lizard.
"Hello dear. I'm Leo. I'm your Dad." I look up at him. "Dad?" I whisper. He nods. His eyes are so soft, unlike any of the other men before. He speaks quietly and softly. I like him. "We'll be heading home as soon as the plane is ready. Do you want any food?"
"Food?" I whisper. I have only eaten bread before. It's not yummy. It was always dry. The water was never dry though. It was so yummy. Better than the bread. Before my appointments the men would always give me this special candy. It would always make me sleepy and I fell asleep. I dreamed so peacefully. I loved it.
I look up at Dad. "Sleepy candy?" I whisper. Dad's expression suddenly turns angry. I quickly back away. He suddenly stands up and leaves the room. I sigh in relief. Lizard speaks softly, "Angel. Can you come back over here and sit in my lap? I won't hurt you, I promise."
I love sitting on lap. I was always hugged by men when I sat on lap. I hesitantly walk over to her and sit in her lap. She smells like vanilla and cinnamon. I immediately nuzzle into her chest. She wraps her arms around me tightly. "Angel." She whispers, "Did the men here give you candy?" I nod.
Her arms tighten around me. "Angel...did you get sleepy after eating them?" I nod. "M-m-me love it." I whisper. "I also love bread." She smiles slightly and kisses the top of my head. "How about we try some new foods? I'll have Dad bring you one of everything, ok?" I nod.
She pulls out a rectangle thing from her pocket. She taps her fingers on it before putting it up to her ear. "Dad, please bring food. Different kinds for Angel. She's hungry." She waits a few seconds then says, "Thanks, bye love you!"
I tilt my head and point to the thing. She chuckles softly. "This is called a phone Angel. Dad has one to. You'll get one when your older." "Oh." I whisper. She strokes my hair. I close my eyes. I sigh. This is the best feeling ever. I love it when my head was petted or my hair played with.
"Lizard?" I look up at her. "Yes Angel?" I look up at her. "C-c-can you kiss my forehead?" Her eyes soften. Her eyes look watery for some reason. She smiles and nods. "Of course Angel." She leans down and kisses my forehead. Her warm lips meet my cold forehead. I sigh and close my eyes.
She's so gentle. So warm and comfy. I cling to her tightly. She holds it forever. I love it. Suddenly, the office door opens again. I quickly turn and look. It's Dad. He looks much calmer now. I sigh in relief.
He's holding a few bags. He smiles as he sees me in Lizard's lap. "Hello darling. I brought some food. Why don't you eat it on the way to the airport?" Airport? What's that? I tilt my head at Angel. She smiles. "We are going on a plane to South Korea. It's a big beautiful place. The plane is our private jet. It's big and comfy. You can eat and sleep all you want, ok?"
I nod. I hesitantly stand up from Lizard's lap. The food smells amazing. Dad holds out his hand for me. I hesitantly take it. He smiles great big. Angel follows behind. We finally leave the only place I've ever known. It's a little scary. I stop walking and look back at the building. Tears fill my eyes.
Dad speaks softly. "Come on Angel. Your new home will be much better, I promise baby." I nod and sniffle. We get into this big black car with 4 wheels. I've never been in a car before. There's seats attached to both sides, and a small space in the middle. Dad helps me in. Lizard sits next to me. Dad sits in a chair across. He talks to the man driving.
"Airport please." Suddenly buildings start going by. I look around confused. I reach for Lizards arm. I whimper. I get scared. I start breathing heavily. She immediately hugs me tightly. "Shh, baby. It's ok Angel. It's a car. It's supposed to move like this. You're safe. I promise Angel." She kisses my forehead.
I immediately relax. She holds the kiss. I take deep breaths. I slowly calm down. Tears stream down my face. "M-m-me like forehead kiss from Lizard." I whisper. I close my eyes. Angel gently strokes my hair. "The jet will be much better. It's huge. It goes up in the air. You can even touch clouds!"
I sigh in relief. This "jet" thing sounds ok. Not to overwhelming. I nuzzle into her chest. "M-m-me safe with Lizard" I whisper. She nods. She kisses my head. "Yes Angel. Your safe. From now on."
(Dad) Leo's pov-
When the officer called me telling me about Angel, I burst into tears. I was in my office on the third floor. I immediately called for Elizabeth and the 4 boys. They immediately rush in. "They found Angel. She's in America. She's...been in a trafficking ring." I whisper.
They all freeze. Their mouths drop one by one. "I've scheduled a flight over. Lizard, please come with. She needs a woman with her. Boys, let's wait to meet her...I'll let you meet her one at a time. I don't want to overwhelm her."
Elijah immediately speaks up. "A trafficking ring?" He whispers. "She'd be only 10 years old. How could anyone do that to a child." He slowly walks out of my office. I look at the other 3.
"You boys stick together. You all will need each other to get through this." They nod and leave the room. Lizard looks at me with tears in her eyes. I slowly stand up and walk over to her. She immediately throws herself at me and sobs against my chest. I hug her tightly.
She had it the worst after her Mom left with Angel. She begged to keep Angel here. Being the only girl in this family was very hard for her growing up. She's a fine beautiful woman now. I gently stroke her hair. "Shh Baby. It's ok. Let's go get your sister now." She nods and sniffles.
She pulls her away and wipes her eyes. "Dad. I'm so happy. I'm so...relieved." She whispers. I look down at her. "I know, baby. I know." I gently wipe the remaining of her tears. I pull out my phone and call my right-hand man. "Get the limo ready please." He then hangs up.
We drive to the Limo. We then get on our jet and fly to America. It's a 10 hour flight from Seoul to New York City. We land at the airport. We then get in a car and drive to the place where Angel is.
*Time skip*
We finally are leaving that terrible place Angel has been kept in all these years. She was brought into this terrible life at 3 years old. If her Mom wasn't dead, I would kill her just for letting this happen.
Angel stops and looks back at the place. Tears fill her eyes. My chest aches. I gently squeeze her hand. I look down at her. "Come on Angel. Your new home will be much better, I promise baby."
She nods. I help her into the car. I let Lizard sit with Angel. I sit across diagonally. As the car starts moving Angel starts panicking. She starts gasping. She whimpers and reaches for Lizard. Lizard immediately hugs her. She kisses her forehead.
"M-m-me like forehead kiss from Lizard." Angel whispers. She immediately relaxes. Tears fill my eyes. I look out the window. My poor baby girl. She's been locked away all her life pleasuring men. She knows nothing about this world. I clench my fists.
After an hour drive we make it to the airport. I let the girls get out first. Angel never let go of lizards hand. I smile slightly. I walk on the other side of her. She reaches her hand up. I freeze. I hesitantly take it. It's so tiny in mine. I smile slightly. We all 3 wall together inside.
