Charlotte: *deeply inhales and exhales repeatedly*
Eli: Hey, Charlotte. Relax.
Eric: Yeah, girl. You gotta chillax. We’re gonna do fine.
Charlotte: *inhales deeply, then exhales* Okay. I’m ready.
Mr. Paris: *on stage* My, my, the Stage Frighteners sure terrified me with their talent! *guffaws* And now, let’s hear it for ‘The Orchestrators!’ *jumps off stage and sits in front row*
The Orchestrators: *walk onto stage in positions with Eric at the guitar stand, Genevieve at the bass stand, Geoff at the drum-set, Eli at the piano, and Charlotte at the microphone stand*
Geoff: *sitting at drum set clicks his drumsticks four times at 75 BPM*
The Orchestrators: *begin playing music*
Charlotte: As I smile to the world, you are my living light. But in the darkest night, I couldn’t see where you were. Now, I’m searching for your trail, to find where you are, it seems frail. Gone) I woke to find nothing. There has to be something! Now I’ll look high and low to find out what went down. These pieces lead me closer. Now I have a lead past this blur. The Orchestrators: *stop playing music*
All: *cheer, scream, and applaud*
Mr. Paris: *stands up and jumps on stage* Oh, boy, were these guys amazing or what?! But I’m afraid that these two bands were the only bands for tonight.
All: *start booing*
Mr. Paris: But don’t worry, I’m sure someone will stand up and want to perform on stage as well. In the meantime, it’s about 9:00, so, all of you off to bed. We’ll need to be up bright and early in the morning! You’re all dismissed!
All: *stand up and start walking out of performance lodge*
Eric: Oh my, gosh! That was crazy! We killed it up there!
Charlotte: I thought it was awesome!
Eric: You all did awesome! Charlotte, you have a beautiful singing voice!
Charlotte: Awe, thank you!
Geoff: Yeah, it’s a good thing we got you to join us!
Charlotte: Why do you say that?
Eric: Ken York is why.
Charlotte: What about Ken?
Eric: Do you wanna know why he calls himself and his friend Billy the ‘Stage Frighteners?’
Charlotte: Why?
Geoff: He’s always wanted to be a leader of a large band, like a conductor or some sort.
Eli: Are you serious?
Genevieve: Yes! And After he was rejected by some fellow students who had their own band, he decided to make his own band and show them that he was going to be the best guitarist and the best performer they had ever seen!
Charlotte: Oh my, gosh.
Eric: Ken is a nice guy, don’t get me wrong, but he hates failing or being lower than anyone.
Eli: It seems that way for everyone if you ask me.
Eric: Well I didn’t ask for your opinion, Elle.
