Silent Hearts - Whispers of the heart

Tied to her heart was his name,

For now it burns quietly in flame.

The love she held, he had no clue,

still drowned her in a sea of Prussian blue.

In the dark, she wept and said,

“Let me hold the last hope I have left.”

But oh, how naïve she was to dream..

He lit up her world, then left her drowning in the abyss .

She couldn’t bear to turn the pages,

where stories danced in dreamy gaze,.

She wished on him for countless days,

delusion lingered in a haze.

The love she cradled, once so brave,

began to wilt, slowly started to fade.

a fire that scorched her brightest days.

She wept for someone cold, unknown,

who once felt hers , and left her lone.

But To him, those years were barely a breath

Beloved, breathe through this silent storm,

until the pain begins to transform.

The wheels of life will still spin on,

the sun and moon keep sharing dawn.

So let your tears fall, and learn to stand tall.

Let it hurt, let it bleed, let the ache become a dream,

and watch those memories fade like a stream

but dare not look at what’s left behind.
