Frozen.

I’m never changing,

Never moving on,

Frozen in time.

Trapped  but still breathing.

Never feeling,

Never understanding why.

Why they left,

Why I’m not enough,

Why I can’t be loved,

Why I am a ghost,

Trapped in a body,

A body that’s mine,

But also isn’t.

Ghosts of feeling dance across my heart.

Ghosts of memories hitting my heart,

My head,

My mind.

Always hitting when I don’t expect it.

I’m frozen in a time that doesn’t exist anymore.

If it ever did.
