屈到病和屈曲兒是兩姐弟，屈到病是一個傻子，他凡事都要經驗過才知，包括他媽媽是女人這個不言自明的事實。一天，他們在海灘上見到有五男二女躺臥在地上，於是乎他們便打算主動去救他們一命，不過最終他們只救下兩人，這兩人分別叫李元就和鐘子期，原來他們是被滅佛教教主崔海藩的手下追殺，而因為屈到病是很有正義感的，所以他自告奮勇地幫助他們將一封信帶去給杭州靈隱寺無慧方丈過目。
