After a gloomy and a rainy day, the sunrays had finally touched the fields of the Yadav’s. The rain had ruined the major part of their fields. They lived in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. In the district there were mostly rice and wheat were grown in the fields. Due to the harsh rain their fields were affected deeply, the crops were waterlogged and the wheat grains were at the risk of rot. Soon one by one the family members woke up. First the dada and dadi ji woke up listening to the screams of their neighbors. They were waking up everybody in their neighborhood, since they were the first one to see those ruined crops. They screamed so bad,” Get up everybody see the situation of your crops they are waterlogged and are about to rot. Get up Yadav ji see your crops!”. The head of the Yadav family had woken up by this time. Bhagwan Das Yadav (the grandfather) and Shanti Devi Yadav ( the grandmother) had reached their fields seeing those fields they too started screaming to save their fields and then woke up Ram Kishore Yadav followed by his wife Sumitra Yadav. He was the eldest son of the family it had nearly been 20 years since he had started working in an actual farm but till this date, he had never seen such a farm after the rains. The ladies wept uncontrollably. The men’s entered their fields to check on the fields, the water had almost washed away all the soil of the fields. Hearing the chaos the children of all the house had woken up. Due to the damage done to the field the children were instructed to stay inside the house itself. But the elder son of Ram Kishore had completed his studies in farming so he is was the most favorable person needed in the situation. His name was Raju Yadav but yet the most educated one in the family, he had done Diploma in Agriculture so he had some cure for this situation. His name was like chanted in the neighborhood, so without wasting any moment he came out of the house with a notepad as he had already known about the situation. He went to every field of the neighborhood and wrote down his observation in the note pad. His younger brother Mohan Yadav had been trying to escape the house the fields. He also had interest in agriculture like his brother, so sometimes he used to take his brother’s book and read it if he didn’t understand what was there, he used to roam around his brother to know about plants and agricultural methods. As soon as Raju completed his observation he went back to his room and took out his book and sat down on his table and started finding some cure’s to recovering this huge loss of his family.
