In case you're wondering why I'm rewriting an old story instead of coming up with something new. 

I know you're all asking me why my first story on this site is an old Harry Potter fanfiction that should have been thrown away instead of recycled and rebooted, but hear me out.  

I wrote this story back in high school (I know, how original) and in the age of reboots, I felt that this story deserved a second chance. I'm at a good place and I've gotten over my fascination with Harry Potter. Also, it's time for this story to come back to life and be introduced to a new generation of fans who might not want to read the Harry Potter books after I'm done skewering them.
