Synopsis

I have no pursuits, nor prefer to be involved in the war between Moirae and The Kingdom of Fathiyeth. But it seems like Naifei’len has no chance to avoid the erosion of this war.

A farewell to jokes. That’s where my journey begins.

The Land of Eleven Seasons bears the weight of legends and sagas for thousands of years, with heroes and civilians building the history with bloodshed, sweat, and tears. There are too many stories to be told on this land, but this time isn’t about all those great wars or political tussles.

This time, this time is just a journal, written by a normal man who could never be imagined as a hero, during the time he left his hometown to avoid wars.

All the villages in the field of Fei’nen had been eroded by blood and fire within the war between Moirae the human nation and The Kingdom of Fathiyeth, and Naifei’len, the place he grew up, was no exception.

On the last night, the villagers were holding a farewell event and deciding which sides they would join. As a human, he was supposed to join the human side against the other kinds reasonably. But he had chosen the hardest way—he chose to escape from wars.

His name is Smith Smith, the second most unique name in this world. On the last night before ‘The Great War in Fei’nen’, he bade farewell to jokes, then began his grand tour to find a peaceful living place.

He organised the tales he had heard during the journey into many independent extremely short stories and put them in this book. Just to provide some simple leisure for the customers in his bar.

————

This book is under my big project: “The Land of Eleven Seasons” archives, only this isn’t heavily relevant to the main storyline. I thought before continuing the main story, I should experience the world I had created myself while keeping my writing going. Thus, instead of the protagonists' legend, I chose Tales of The Land of Eleven Seasons, a series of independent extremely short stories written by a normal hick under a stormy era, as my first publication. Meanwhile, to improve myself as a writer to advance the epic, engaging, saga I have been dreaming of accomplishing.

So if you’re looking for a grand, dramatic, journey about war, freedom, and religion which you’re going to obsess with once you turn the page, I’m afraid this book can’t meet your needs. You’re going to have to wait for a while, sorry for that sincerely.

However, if what you’re searching for is some little things to relax after a hard-working day, or to read some stories before sleep (Perhaps even to make it as your children’s bedtime story if you’re not against letting your kids know some dark side in their early age, who knows?) or you’re my kind of people who loves stories but find it hard to maintain focus, or even better if you’re also an ambitious writer trying to gain some idea through short paragraph stories.

Then, I humbly invite you to take a look at this fellow’s travelling journal.
