作者田十八自幼熱愛DC漫畫，同時亦對《進擊的巨人》充滿讚嘆和感動。曾經不禁設想，若超人與蝙蝠俠等英雄生於巨人所統治的世界，會是如何的光景？

本作背景設定於巨人世界的未來，人類再次面臨巨人威脅，被逼退守城牆之內。此時，新一代的英雄崛起，他們不僅要與巨人對抗，亦需面對各種道德與抉擇的考驗。正面面對人性的醜惡一面，也從根本描述男女基礎的物化。歷史一再重演，抑或英雄能改變世界的命運？

誠然，對於巨人粉絲而言，初期劇情中巨人的出場次數或許較少，尚請諒解。至於有關「自由」的探討，因諫山創先生已在原作將其詮釋至極，我將避重複，以其他角度展開故事，更會融合DC宇宙和巨人世界觀的設定，解開巨人力量的起源秘密。

此乃一部兼具熱情與想像的同人作品，期盼能獲得各位讀者的共鳴與喜愛。
