A man sitting on a ledge so high,
It was just an arm to touch the sky
The clouds seemed to be within his reach
A sight so grand, it seemed to preach
The birds, above and below, how gracefully they flew?
He saw the trees whisper tales as they grew
The moon, vibrant, he could feel the light
A sight he never expected to see tonight
The moon, close enough to feel her touch
He tried to grab it, but he knew it couldn't be in his clutch
Another cliff did he see, a twin to his own, though lower than his
He felt isolated, waiting for a friend or Miss
He looked down, hoping for someone to look up.
Soon, tears welled up, enough to fill a cup
But the view was only adequate to fill a fraction
A sight so dreamlike it couldn't meet his satisfaction
He'd never believe if another told him about the place
A place so high up, it almost left the world without a trace
The view led him to fascination
In his own words, "It was more than a dream--- it was
ABOVE MY IMAGINATION 🌟"
