This work was born of many things. I have been trying to write more lately, but having trouble. The latest thing I was working on was one I had tried to put a lot of planning into, and it just wasn't working out. I decided to try something more free; some discovery writing! I wanted to do something original, too. I browsed the internet and found some glorious pieces of art that made me feel inspired. I took the visual component and combined it with a Seventh Sanctum prompt that caught my eye (which is now the title of the work). I started writing, and this came out! I went in with really no planning; I just let it flow. When the first draft was finished, I did go back and tighten things up. Characters, plot points, all that stuff. Had to make it as good as I could, you know?

Princess Thea and her group of protector Knights journey to a remote island to seek the Augur, the one they are told can save their world from death. What awaits them on this island with a forest of stone?
