萬年前，一場人類之間的大戰造成了大陸上各處生靈塗炭，殘酷的戰爭使得人類虛弱到沒有能力繼續掌控著大陸，而魔獸們則利用這樣的機會，在人類幾乎滅絕的大陸上自行建立了自己的國家。

萬年後，殘存各地的人類們再一次日漸成長，重新在這塊大陸上建立起自己的文化與國度，他們，在這個自由的世紀中，陸續闖出屬於自己的故事。

請跟隨迷樣的盜賊、博學的學者、強悍的劍士、團結的傭兵……等等人事物，如同拼圖般拼出一個完整的大陸，只有在這樣自由的大陸上，人與人之間才能如同齒輪般造就出各種不同的效應。

那就是所謂，自由的世紀。
