簪花始於漢朝，是古代女子為了吸引男子而出現的。唐朝時，出現了男子簪花的記載並在宋朝達到了鼎盛的高峰。
現在福建泉州蟳埔社區依然流行簪花，全國各地俊男美女都慕名而來，只為簪花。來福建自然也要欣賞簪花習俗喲。
