Elaine ordered her Starbucks just like any other teenage girl. Non fat soy mocha latte. SImple right?
"Miss," The barista said.
Elaine looked up from the counter in surprise. Yes? She thought out loud.
"Your coffee’s ready." The barista was a kind woman around 20 years old. Elaine smiled back at her.
"Thank you." Elaine said softly. As she walked towards the exit of her favorite Starbucks in town, she glanced down at her cup. 'You're beautiful' was written in place of her name. She glanced back and their eyes met. He was soft and beautiful. He looked almost like a golden retriever with his big brown eyes. He had soft curly hair and a big bright smile. Elaine blinked and realized she was staring at him. She immediately became flustered and looked away. He smiled and laughed softly. It was a loveable laugh, she realized.

Elaine had long brunette hair with small blue eyes. She was gorgeous but she didn’t know it. She was shy and clumsy.
“I...I..don’t know what to say...Thank you?” She was having troubles formulating words correctly. But he didn’t seem to notice. He laughed softly. He sure seemed to do that a lot.
“My names Colin, Colin Parker. What’s yours?” Colin reached his hand out to shake hers. She moved to a nearby table so they could talk.

“Pre med. I want to be a doctor someday. I bet you’re going to be a model. The way you dress and act makes me think you could do it.” He had the voice of someone who dated a lot of girls. Probably partied a lot. She was focused more on her career than partying.
“I’m going for nursing. I would like to be a nurse for a doctor someday. I couldn’t handle having all of that responsibility all at once. I could never be a model.” She was flustering. “Maybe you could be my nurse someday.” Colin said with a wink. She was sure going to miss his wink and cute smile.
“Well my class starts in a half an hour so I should probably be leaving. It was really nice to meet you, Colin.” What if she never sees him again? What then?
“Wait! Before you go I want to do something.” Colin grabbed Elaine’s wrist and wrote down his phone number. He mouthed call me as she was leaving. He was a really nice sweet guy. Seems like a flirt. He probably has a girlfriend.
