「飞」在象形字裡代表的是鳥類的翅膀，意指鳥類在天空飛的模樣，雖說形狀仍然保持鳥翅展開的意象，但變得更加抽象化；
而「飛」由兩個飞組成，看起來較有鳥兒展翅時的動態感，且中間字型結構，看起來像一個「升」，而升字代表著上升、往上的意思，也意指了飛是個往上的動作，而非下降。
雖然「飞」本身就可以表現出鳥兒展翅飛翔的模樣，但我個人覺得沒有「飛」來得具體。
總的來說：各有各的好，各有所好。
