Prologue


They speak of themselves as the “kinds” and there are many. They are the ones that think and speak, unlike the beasts. Some take to the skies and some in the waters but the most roam on land. They speak of each other, though some do not believe in anything other than themselves. Of the most interest were the elves for the secrets they held where they lived in the great trees of the old forest.
