With no apparent boundaries.

She plays with the heart of things

That are squirming under these

Pressures of what they think love is.

There's no telling how far she'll go

With this frail heart of his,

If she'll ever let him know

Just how sorry she was for it all?

How well she hides her own pain,

While her heart reluctantly falls

In love with nothing to gain

But sorrow and loneliness.

Her perfect stranger,

Her source of weakness,

Her sign of danger.

How she loved the thrill of the chase,

Leading him to believe

It was all going at his pace.

Little did he know that she would leave

His strings detached

From what he thought was true.

How quickly his happiness was snatched

Away from the girl who saw right through

Him and all his own little games.

He thought he was in control,

But she had been thinking the same.

She had secrets that would drill holes 

In his head and fill them with jealousy

And thoughts of rage.

Yet everything he did was breathlessly 

Beautiful to her, catching in her ribcage.

She'd never be able to hurt him

The way she had first intended to.

So she'd just have to live with the grim

Fact that her feelings for him were true,

And that she would never

Have him the way she wanted to.
