You walk on a path of rotting bodies

People, that you have left behind

You walk on them like they’re merely dirt

Them, you will never again mind

For you’ve already forgotten each of their spoken words

Under your dirty feet,

You show no frown

Your emotions they will never meet

But I have seen them with my own eyes

They were the truth, you spoke no lies

They were dramatic and intense

But for the consequences you never try making amends

I am one of the bodies you trample upon

But your heart and your trust I have won

Though, I lost both long ago

For your heart grew cold and love was nevermore to show

Though, I do not mind this peculiar trait

It interests me, how you were made

But I’ll always remember the things you awoke

Inside of me. Though, I cherish them much
