In a world where powerful martial arts clans fight for control, Lin, a young girl from the Lotus Clan, is forced to marry a guy she doesn’t love to keep the peace between her family and others. She’s good at her clan’s special martial arts, and she’s trained her whole life to protect her family’s name, but she hates the idea of this arranged marriage.

What Lin doesn’t know is that her marriage is part of a plan to stop the rise of the Dragon Clan. The Dragon Clan is rumored to have the Dragon’s Heart, a magical thing that can control life and death. With her wedding coming soon, Lin runs away to the mountains to find her dad’s old teacher, who might know more about the Dragon Clan.

In the mountains, she meets Xian, the last living member of the Dragon Clan. He was thought to be dead after his family was betrayed, but he’s been hiding away all this time. Xian’s mission is to find the Dragon’s Heart and bring back his family’s honor. But there’s a prophecy saying the Heart could either save or destroy everything.

Lin and Xian’s paths cross, and they end up helping each other. Lin’s dad, who’s secretly after the Dragon’s Heart for himself, doesn’t know his daughter is the key to finding it.

As Lin trains with Xian, she learns a lot about her own past and has to decide between family duty and following her heart. Together, they must figure out how to stop everyone who wants to use the Dragon’s Heart for evil, or else they’ll have to choose between love and the future of the martial world.
