She has thick, straight Champagne blonde hair, cut in an asymmetrical bob with cobalt blue eyes. The right side is dramatically longer, falling to the middle of her chest, while the left is cut just below her ear. It is cut with geometric precision, emphasizing the thickness and weight of her hair. It's a modernist design she created to show the density and straightness of her natural texture. She usually has her hair down, but it's high and sleek when she's surfing or skateboarding, or in a ponytail when she's updating her online store. Summer/Spring:
Kati wears a close-fitting ribbed tank top in a warm champagne color. The tank has a scoop neck that sits just below her collarbone. Its cropped hem ends just above her jeans. The fabric is lightweight and breathable. She can move easily in it. She pairs it with high-waisted, wide-leg jeans in an almost black shade. The denim is heavy and stiff, though well-worn over months. The jeans sit at her natural waist. The generously cut legs fall to the top of her feet and end in a raw, unfinished hem. The back pockets are plain. The front pockets are deep enough for her phone, keys, and a golden-colored elastic. Sometimes she wears the same-colored shorts with even deeper pockets. These shorts stop five inches above her mid-thigh. Their hem is unfinished and frayed. For footwear, she chooses minimal sneakers with no logos, contrast stitching, or visible branding. The soles are rubber. The laces are waxed cotton. The heel tab is small. Her shoes are always cleaned properly.

First, her cropped denim jacket is medium blue and a bit big. It has a boxy but relaxed silhouette and ends just above her natural waist. The sleeves are wide and rolled twice. The collar is a classic tucker. The standard buttons have been replaced by custom gold dome buttons. These buttons are matte and hammered, so they catch light without being shiny. The jacket is so worn that the patterns are faded.
Next is her watch/locket. Though Sterling is a metalsmith, he isn't a watchmaker. He needed to call in a favor to have someone make one for Kati. The watch has a secret: the back case is hinged and opens only via a specific sequence—three short clicks, a pause, and one long click. She then adds golden hoop earrings to her accessory selection. They are medium-sized and only in her left ear, as she hates how earrings can get caught in long hair. The hoop is matte gold, hammered by hand like her buttons, and closes with a small, invisible hinge. She is very proud of making these hoops, as they are her first project, especially since Sterling has helped her with them.
Finally, her leather belt completes her accessories. The belt is wide and matte black, with a very simple, rectangular golden buckle. She usually wears it, as the jeans are a bit big on her.

Winter/Fall:
During the colder seasons, Kati wears a long-sleeve thermal shirt in a soft, ribbed cotton-blend in a warm champagne. The shirt has a small, rounded crew neck at the base of her throat, which can trap heat because the fabric is waffle-knit. The sleeves are long enough to extend past her wrists, allowing her golden watch to rest against the fabric, while the hem is long enough to be tucked into her jeans. Next, she wears almost-black denim cargo pants lined with cream flannel. There are large flap-front pockets on the thighs for her to carry her phone, a redwood comb, keys, and spare elastics. The pants fall just above her ankles, the waist is high, and the hem is raw, matching her straight-leg jeans in the same color. She wears some cream-colored ribbed wool socks. The socks keep her feet nice and warm with no patterns, making it minimalist, and the top is folded just above the top of her high-top sneakers. First is her oversized but heavyweight hoodie. The hoodie is made with a soft, fleece-lined cotton in a pale driftwood color. The hoodie is cut in a relaxed, boxy silhouette that falls to her hips. It's large and structured, in custom thick, waxed cotton in cream, with small hammered golden aglets at the tips. The front pockets are classic kangaroo pouches, with cuffs and a ribbed hem to keep the cold air out. She usually doesn't wear this hoodie unless it's really cold.
Next, the cropped denim jacket. Since Kati loves her cropped denim jacket, she decided to make one for winter. The jacket is still vertically the same as her summer version: washed medium-blue denim, cropped to her natural waist, and with the custom gold dome buttons. However, she added a removable shearing collar in a warm cream color that snaps into place just behind the trucker collar. It's soft, warm, and frames her face when she turns it up against the wind. The jacket is also lined with a thin layer of quilted cotton batting, which adds extra warmth without altering the silhouette.
Next is her shearing-lined beanie. The beanie is a ribbed, close-fitting beanie made with a soft cashmere-wool blend in a warm champagne. It's simple with no pom-pom, pattern, or logo. It sits just above her ears with its cuff folded once, and the interior is lined with a thin layer of cream shearing.

Unlike most of her siblings, Kati is reserved. She doesn’t really talk to her siblings, mainly because of past events, but she will at least talk to Célestine, as she is the closest sibling to her. Due to her being quite distant or shy around others. She also has a hard time making friends. However, thanks to Sterling, Kati is starting to talk and go out more nowadays. There are still many things to do, but she's making progress.

Sterling Love (Adopted Father, America)- She was afraid of Sterling and didn't do anything with him. Sterling however made sure to send letters to update her on her siblings especially on Alister. It wasn't until what was going on with her Beau did she finally even did anything. She don't know how but Sterling managed to get her away from Buenaventura and started to help her as much as he can.
Since then Kati started to tell him what happened and in response, Sterling told her about his experiences with his own family. Maybe it was because they experience the same or at least something similar. Did she started relay on him and believed her family should try another chance. This also includes Alister.

Liberty Love (Adopted Mother)- Due to Kati experiences with María and later Buenaventura, she didn't think she has the ability to let others into her life. Liberty, however, thought differently but didn't rush to be let in. She was caring and understanding towards Kati and her siblings.
Maybe seeing her siblings letting Liberty in and accepting her love. Made Kati want to try or at least let her walls down a little.

Another thing that doesn't help is how much he looks like their father and Alister agrees. Its probably one thing they agree but for the sake for their adopted parents, she will try to get to know Alister on her terms and only her terms.

Célestine Love (Nevada, Little Sister)- Célestine is the closest to Kati then everyone but Sterling and Liberty. They do quite a bit of things together either its talking or just gossiping on what happened. With that said, Kati doesn't really go outside unless its round the house or the property in general. This is mainly due to her ability but Célestine will make sure to get all the juicy tea or just tell her what happened so far that day.

María was just abusive like her father but she also neglect towards her and her siblings except for Alister. Unlike her siblings, María did much worse towards Kati which causes her to rarely come out of the house and distance herself towards others.

Unnamed father (Unknown countryhuman)- Kati was always a target to her father. When ever he gets mad, a mistake from her siblings or María, or when he gets drunk. Its for this reason she tries to hide from him and this later translate towards her own mother, siblings, her Beau, and even her own children. At some point in her life he just disappear sometime after Glenice's birth. Exactly when she doesn't know but she never saw him again.

Lucia Galvan (Los Angeles, Daughter, 1781)- Lucia is Kati's middle child and Kati made sure not to have any favorites between her children. Unfortunately, due to Kati's experiences with her own mother, she was also distanced towards her and her siblings. Lucia did thought this was normal until she was older but she understand why this happened. At some point, Lucia decided on introducing her fiancee, Raphael Galvan, a young unknown countryhuman who is very timid. Thankfully that timidness made her mother get closer even though its a little but she's at least happy.
When she meet Sterling, her new grandfather, she didn't have a good impression per say. Of course, this is despise the fact he defeated her grandmother, María. In which she is very much happy and that makes him land a good spot where she doesn't go and shut him out. Though some time after her father, Buenaventura, started to act differently and noticed Kati's distress to it all. So she gathered her siblings and decided on getting Sterling involve.

Lynda Love (San Francisco, Daughter, 1776)- Just like Lucia, Kati was distance towards Lynda as well and understand the circumstances around it. Unlike Lucia, she was more suspicious of Sterling when they first meet. I mean, "Yea he beat my grandmother but that does mean he won't hurt mom either." is along the lines she thought and kept a close eye on him.
Lynda also meet Raphael and decided he is a good addiction to the family seeing how Kati is very much welcoming him. This does want her to find lover similar to her sister but she never did. In fact while she is still searching for one. Buenaventura ended up betraying Kati did she put a hold on all that. It was also cause of this event did she started to lose her suspicion on Sterling.

Lloyd Love (Sacramento, Son, 1848)- When Lloyd finally came into the family, Kati was a bit less distance towards her family but still was. Just like Lynda, Lloyd has yet to find a lover but is very much happy with his brother-in-law. With that said he never liked his father and tried very hard to stay away from him as much as possible. In a way he knew something was amiss with that man but didn't seemed to noticed since he was subconsciously doing it.
So when Buenaventura had finally went and turn a full 360 on Kati. Lloyd just knows that man had to go but he wasn't sure on how. It wasn't until Lucia came and suggested numerous ideas did he try to fully help. It was him who suggested in letting Sterling handle this since he may understand how to peacefully get his parents apart.

Buenaventura Lozano (Kati's Beau and husband, Unknown Countryhuman)- Buenaventura is a priest and a real good one. At first he was a good man towards Kati but at some point after she became Sterling's new daughter did things change. He told everyone that Kati has cheated on her and thanks to his reputation in the small town they lived at the time, Kati was deemed an outsider and would be harass both in their own home and outside of it. It wasn't until her children decided enough was enough and got Sterling involve.

Raphael Galvan (Lucia's husband, Son-in-law, Unknown Countryhuman)- Due to his own timidness, people often used it to their own advantage. When he meet Lucia for the first time, it was the first time someone didn't take advantage of him. This made him happy and very much special towards him. Things went well between the two up towards the point where he was introduced to her family. Except for Kati's siblings or adopting grandparents.
Raphael seemed to understand Kati and they hit it off right away. They've talk, meet, do some activities, and general got along. This ended up helping Buenaventura's narrative about Kati cheating on him though this would fall flat on his face. Raphael got together with his soon to be wife and her siblings to help their mother get away from her husband. In the end it ended up getting Sterling to help out and this happened to be the first time he ever meets him.
