Hello. I am former captain Blackwhiskers, who has retired due to the fact that there wasn't much fighting to do anymore. With my loving wife, Martha, and my kid, Michael, I lived a normal, happy life.
But then a dream happened.
I was at a lab. There was some sort of huge egg inside it, being suctioned by a bunch of tubes.
The egg hatched after a minute. I had a brief vision of a dragon-like being coming out of the egg.
I woke up.
"Nightmares again, dear?" Martha wondered because I was somehow insomniac.
After three hours without sleep, the two other people I cared for most awoke. "Mornin,' dad," my son Michael greeted me.
I hadn't replied. "Dad? Dad?" Michael reassured. "It's...just a dream..." I replied. I sipped my coffee, traumatized by my dream. What did it mean? Was something big gonna happen?
Later, I told Martha about my dream. She told me to see a fortune teller because those guys are some of the wisest men in town.
I went to a tent that was labeled 'Fortune Teller Gong'. As I went in, the fortune teller made a stoic expression looking at me.
"Hello. I'm David "Blackwhiskers" Felinx," I told the fortune teller. "And I'm Gong," the fortune teller told me in a Chinese accent, retaining his stoic expression and focusing on the opening of the tent.
"I had a vision of a lady in the snow, then I had a dream of a dragon hatching out of an egg. What does this mean?" I explained to Gong.
Gong fished through his tarot cards and nodded his head. "First of all, a journey is about to end."
I pondered on what that meant.
"Second, you will meet a new friend."
I was somehow frustrated on how he wouldn't give me direct answers. I found out that this fortune teller was obscure.
"What should I do first?" I asked Gong.
"In due time, you will know," Gong answered, albeit not the answer I was looking for.
Gong closed his eyes, chanting.
Images started flashing in front of my eyes. I could see my old crewmates, Skuld, everyone I met, plus a few more faces...
"I know what to do," I said.
I rushed out of the tent, looking for all my previous crewmates.
First, there was Theo. He was a very resourceful person; he can make anything even out of sand. I found the place he'd most likely be at: the recycling center.
I walked into the recycling center to see Theodore, and luckily, he was there. "Hello, Theo," I said to Theo. Theo was confused. He looked to his left and right. "Do I know you?"
"I'm your old captain, Blackwhiskers!" I reminded him.
"Oh...why are you here?" he asked.
"I need you to be back in my crew."
"I can't. I have a job here now..."
"I have something for you."
"Huh?"
I got the cloning machine when we went to the moon. "Get in," I told Theodore. He was dumbfounded and had his doubts about it. But he went in anyway, giving him a clone after a few seconds. "Bye," I greeted the real Theodore, while the clone walked alongside me.
Now there were a few more people left: Patrick, Sean, Lou and Sal. Yes, I had a small crew. Lou and Sal were twin brothers, younger than the rest of us, who always stuck up for each other. They mentioned their dream job (other than becoming a pirate) during a truth or dare game, when they said they wanted to own a little shop of their own.
I then checked every store I could find. After a long day I stumbled upon 'Lou and Sal's'. The sign flashed in green neon light. I walked in to see how they were doing.
"Hello, sir," both Lou and Sal said in unison as I entered the store. I looked around the store, then remembered what I had to do. "Hello, Lou and Sal. How'd you like to come back to the crew with me?" I asked as I brought in the cloning machine. "Oh, it's that cloning machine you got there," Lou and Sal said in unison, again. They practically say stuff like that all the time.
They entered the cloning machine. Two more copies of them, which seemed like two copies of only one of them, walked alongside me as I marched outside the store.
Patrick once told me he wanted to work at a gym, so I walked to the gym nearby.
And there he was. He already grew a manly beard. I'm surprised he remembers me, because of his stupidity and obliviousness. I hugged Patrick. "Get in the cloning machine," I persuaded Patrick. Without hesitance, Patrick went in, cloning himself.
After that moment, I needed to see Sean. He was the trickiest to find, because he never actually told me what he wanted to be...other than a pirate. I searched throughout the whole city, and after hundreds of attempts of searching, I found where he was.
He was a pilot. I went to Ailuro Airlines and met him. After conversing with and cloning him, I walked away with my new crew.
But I needed to get everyone else's permission to fight alongside me. Well, after a few days, everyone did, except Martha.
"I can't go out fighting anymore. Someone has to take care of Michael." Martha said. I couldn't object to her. So I left the house and went back to my ship. That's when I saw another vision.
The dragon that hatched out from the egg looked me in the eye. "I'm coming," the dragon said in a deep, garbled and nearly incomprehensible tone.
I shook my head to make sure everything was fine. We went out to sail.
But when we did, we went by a whirlpool.
Oh, wait. Not by. In.
Everyone was panicking. Jotaro's clone held on to his hat, Bill's clone was trying to keep his cool, and Jeanne's clone was busy praying.
The whirlpool abruptly ended. The sea was empty. Did we get sucked into a portal?
My nautical senses say that right now we're supposed to be in the Pacific Ocean. But we weren't...
We sailed to the nearest land. We stopped to take a break. But this land was invaded. Dogs, snakes, and hippos started attacking. What made this battle even more interesting was a hippo whose body has become mechanized. It bit us quick, making us desperate for someone to help save us.
Luckily, we did. A primitive cat holding a bone and wearing a tigerskin cloth (which is kind of odd because tigers are cats) came swinging from a vine, smacking the metal hippo unconscious. He started shouting gibberish and hitting the enemies repeatedly with bones.
We finally had our break. As far as I can tell after the battle, the cat wanted to join us. Due to his astounding ability to knock enemies and his cool weapon of choice, we made him join. He started acting like a monkey on board, but he was harmless to us.
We hurriedly left the land, afraid some other fearsome enemy would come.
When we traveled to the next land, one did.
We were doomed. We were surrounded by black evil dogs, poodles, and a sloth. The poodles kicked us painfully, and the black dogs bit us ferociously. We were probably doomed already. But Lou and Sal started kicking the dogs and showed them who's boss. The sloth was the main problem. It held its face up, them smashed it onto the ground, making an extremely powerful shock wave. We had to be quick in our attacks. Jotaro, or rather, his beast, smashed the sloth fiercely. Patrick, Sean and Theo rapidly whipped the sloth with chains. But the sloth was just merely hurt. As it made another shock wave, my crew was in danger.
After we slayed that annoying sloth, we decided to move to another place.
As we did, we stumbled upon a castle made of cobblestone. There were random people in there shouting, "Queen! Queen! Queen!"
A group of pigs started gathering around each other. This was followed by a bigger pig, wearing a crown. But she wasn't the only new enemy. A bipedal, fat anteater slowly walked out of the castle. When we got in its sight, the anteater quickly turned its head, walking towards us.
His tongue was attacking us constantly. He whipped us bad, causing severe injuries. We quickly beat it up before it could get us into any more trouble.
But we did.
The pig and her servants rushed at us, however slowly. Me and my cloned crew knocked them back. Our primitive friend knocked some of the pigs unconscious. Bill and Jotaro (his beast, more specifically) severely wounded them. Jeanne ended them with a swipe of her arm.
We decided to sleep there. Soon we were falling into our demise...
