Once upon a time,

I wish it could be mine.

Birds are singing,

Flowers are dancing.

The clock ticks,

My heart breaks.

Will you listen if the birds sing louder?

Will you look if the flowers dance harder?

Once upon a time,

I wish it could be fine. 

Birds are leaving.

Flowers are falling. 

The light turns on,

And life goes on.

There is no living happily ever after.

But at least they were precious memories thereafter.
