Finding my Penance - Solidarity

We were standing hand in hand

All of us throughout the lands

All the loves and genders and ages

All of us throughout all places

We were standing all as one

Supporting all and all for one

And they all saw us in our power

And it made their heartbeats cower

So they got their strongest weapons

All their soldiers all their prisons

With these they descended upon the sacrament

Made it so we could not even sing lament

And yet amidst the wreck and ruin

Love and magic links are hidden

Each day our hidden love grows stronger

We won’t grovel for much longer

All their soldiers, cops, enforcers

All their guns and bombs and torture

They won’t win against our magic

Our sacraments will make them panic

And when our new world has its birth

As it is in heaven it will be on earth
