“Good morning, master!” Jess said, bowing as I carried Luca to the staircase.
He had his head on my shoulder, half-asleep. “Good morning.”
She gazed up and smiled when I carried him up the stairs, her eyes burning into my back as Luca remained half-asleep against me.
Almost two minutes later, we entered his bedroom, and I closed the door behind me, gently setting him on the bed as he gazed up at me lazily.
I started helping him out from the T-shirt he was wearing, and he let me.
Almost a second later, I stepped over to his dresser and took out his other clothes.
I then made my way back over to him. “How are you doing this morning, master?”
“I’m fine,” he said, rubbing his eyes.
“Hmm...” I said then, kneeling beside him.
He gazed down at me as I helped him into a turtleneck that covered his upperbody tightly.
“What’s today’s theme?” he asked me then.
I smiled a little. “Cyberpunk.”
He blinked, brows drawing together. “Why?”
“Because I can.”
He rolled his eyes then, gazing back down at me when I helped him into a pair of shorts. “Is there anything on the agenda today?”
“Yes,” I said then, guiding a jacket onto him. “It seems as if the police asked you of another favor. They wonder if you can go to a concert later this evening. Apparently, there’s a threat that happened upon one of the members of the cast that they asked if you could remain there.”
“As a body guard?” Luca finished.
I smiled slightly, clipping a neon-orange flower in his hair. “Yes.”
He just sighed and rolled his eyes. “I’m a detective, not a bodyguard.”
“Yes,” I said then, helping him into a pair of boots, “that’s why I attempted to turn them down, but they insisted you’d come. They said you took care of problems very well and under the radar.”
Luca just thinned his lips when I stood up, gazing down at him.
“Are they suggesting...?” he started.
“A murder,” I finished, lashes lowering. “Yes.”
“Do they know where the threat came from?” he asked me.
“Yes.”
“Then they know the culprit.”
“The matter is more... complicated, I’m afraid,” was my response.
He arched a brow.
“We shall discuss it over breakfast,” I said then, bowing to him.
His lips just thinned.
I then held my hand out to him, and he took it, letting me help him stand.
But he just whipped my grip away, and I blinked, turning back to face him.
He sat on the side of the bed, angrily fumbling with the jacket and unzipping it, and my brows drew together.
“Master?” I said then. “What are you doing?”
He pulled off the jacket and then returned with tugging the shirt over his head, leaving himself half-naked.
“Master...” I said then.
He just gazed up at me, narrowing his eyes in anger.
“I’m afraid I do not know what you want of me,” I told him.
He just made an impatient noise and turned his head to the side, pointing to his neck.
My lashes lowered. “What do you want?”
“It’s not what I want,” he responded, sounding half-annoyed, half-timid. “You haven’t eaten since yesterday afternoon. So how do you expect me to enjoy my breakfast knowing that you’re hungry?”
I smiled slightly, eyes glowing a bright red. “Aw, you care that much about me?”
“No,” he snapped, “your breakfast will taste like shit if you’re hungry, is all.”
I arched a brow. “Do you mind explaining how that works?”
He made an impatient sound and turned his head back to the side. “Just shut up and bite me.”
I smiled and stepped over to him, gently setting my knee on the ground as I brushed some of his hair more over his shoulder.
“It’ll be a pinch,” I explained to him, “for maybe a minute, and then it’ll be over.”
His cheeks burned a bright red as he avoided eye contact. “I know.”
I just sighed and stood fully, making him glance back at me. “No... this position won’t do.”
He blinked. “What.”
I just sat onto the bed then, seeing him look over at me curiously.
But I just caught his arm and his thigh and pulled him up.
He yelped when I swung him over my lap, and his arms caught onto my shoulders when he straddled me.
His cheeks burned a bright red. “What do you think you’re doing?”
I smiled slyly. “How do you expect me to bite you when you’re too high compared to me? Also... it would hurt my back.”
He glared. “I know what you’re doing.”
“Do you want a good breakfast or not?” I asked him then, lashes lowering. “That’s what all this is about, isn’t it?”
His face flushed more. “Yes.”
I knew very well he was lying. He just wanted me to feed on him, is all.
As to why, well I’ll leave that to your imagination.
“You want this done as comfortably as possible, right?” I asked him.
His face flushed even more. “Yes.”
“Then stop whining,” I responded.
He glared at me again. “You talk to your master that way?”
“Yes,” I responded, leaning to him closer as his breath shook, but I just smiled, “I can talk to my master however much I want. In the end, he belongs to me, does he not?”
His cheeks burned brighter. “I’m going to punish you for being so cruel.”
“Oh?” I smirked at his word choice. “With whips and caning? I’ll look forward to it.”
“Shut up, you pervert,” he growled then, though his reddened face contrasted his anger. “You know what I mean.”
“Do I?”
“I’ll slap you again.”
“I might be into that kind of thing,” I warned him, smile darkning. “I am a demon, after all.”
He gritted his teeth. “I’ll make you eat a bowl of cobwebs.”
“You can make me do anything,” I retorted. “It doesn’t change the fact that you’re mine.”
He then looked down to my chest, his entire face flushed.
“Am I making you uncomfortable?” I said then. “Look at you... you’re all red.”
“Shut up and bite me.”
“Tell me, master,” I said then, eyes glowing a slight red. “If there wasn’t the issue of your status being hurt due to the blood supply, would you still have offered me your blood every day?”
He just swallowed something hard.
“Do you enjoy it every time I bite you?” I said then.
He shook his head.
“No?”
“No.”
“Then why do you insist on me biting you every day when I don’t specifically ask for it?” I responded, lashes lowering. “And don’t lie to me. I will know when you’re lying, master.”
He just thinned his lips and swallowed something hard again.
“You’re growing redder,” I said then. “I’m right, aren’t I?”
He just attempted to get off my lap, but I caught onto his hip. “Don’t try to get away without answering the question.”
He shook his head.
“No?” I said then. “No, what?”
“Stop.”
I just looked down at him then, smiling. “There’s no need to be embarassed. You can be honest with me.”
He just struggled to breathe.
“Master.”
He fought me then, pressing his hands to my chest as he tried to get off me.
“Hey, hey,” I said then, trying to keep him in place, “come, now.”
He stopped then, breathing shakily.
I looked down at him, finding his face redder than a tomato.
“Master,” I said then.
He suddenly fell forward, making my breath catch.
But he lightly set his head on my chest, burying his face in my neck when he caught onto my shirt.
I gazed down at him then, lips parting.
“Stop,” he whispered quietly, “they can hear us.”
A smile spread across my face then. “They cannot.”
“How do you know?”
“They’re far away, master,” I said then.
He just gazed down at my chest, lips curling back. “You have your secrets, I have mine.”
“Is that supposed to hint something?” I said then.
He suddenly sat up, looking down at me with an unreadable expression. “If you keep pressing me like this, I’m only going to resist you more.”
My lashes lowered as my smile widened. “Are you hinting that this is a game?”
“I’m keeping my pride.”
“Master, I’m a demon. I always win games.”
“Yes, well, I’m the Prince of Hell,” he responded in a dark tone as his eyes glowed with determination. “I won’t admit it first.”
I tipped my head to the side. “But you don’t resist me well, do you?”
“As long as I don’t admit it,” he responded, smirking, “I win.”
“Oh, you haven’t won yet,” I responded.
“Neither have you.”
My eyes glowed a slight red. “You sure do like playing me, don’t you?”
“Don’t start with that,” he said then, eyes darkening, “you started this game the moment you entered my psych class.”
“And yet it’s two years later,” I stated.
“And I’m still winning,” he responded with a smile.
“We’ll see about that,” I said then. “Let alone the fact that, well...” my eyes glowed red, “you keep giving into me. You snuggle with me, let me bite you, let me clothe you. Why don’t you just admit it?”
“Because that’s corny,” was his response, and he just leveled his eyes with mine. “It doesn’t matter what happens. I can fight you, I can kiss you, you can bite me, you can touch me whereever and I can let you...” he trailed off as he smirked, “as long as I don’t admit it, I win.”
“Oh, you’re going to admit it, alright,” I said then.
“Not until you do first.”
“No,” I said then, lashes lowering, “the first is going to be you, master.”
“Make me.”
My eyes glowed a slight red. “Gladly.”
And I opened my mouth, tearing my fangs into his neck.
He cried out, gripping onto my shoulders as I drank his blood.
I smiled against him, fingers digging into his back as his nails bit into my shoulders.
He dropped his forehead to my neck, breathing uneasily as his sweet, delicous, tangy blood exploded into my senses... and I was drowning in it... I was devouring it.
But, after a moment, I finally pulled back.
The moment my fangs exited his skin, he gasped for breath, nails still biting into my shoulders as I felt his tears slide into my skin.
I kept my smile, gently running my hand up and down his back.
I just lightly kissed the wound, feeling him wince. “Thank you,” I said then, “I was hungry.”
He kept breathing uneasily.
I just pulled him off and pushed him onto the bed, rolling over him as he continued catching his breath.
“Shhh...” I said then, kissing the blood that bloomed on the wound. “You’re alright.”
He just kept his hands on my shoulders, breathing uneasily.
I gazed up, finding a single tear slipping from his eye.
I smiled and kissed it away, leaving a small stain of blood on his cheek.
“Did I take you off guard?” I said then, face hovering over his.
He nodded.
I just smiled and leaned down, running my thumb under his eye marked with the X. “Sorry.”
He kept catching his breath. “You don’t... look sorry.”
“I never look sorry,” I responded.
He just closed his eyes, still struggling to breathe.
“Does it hurt?” I said then, voice gentle.
He nodded.
My smile softened. “I’ll go away soon. You heal faster with my venom in your system.”
“Well... that’s... assuring...” he responded.
My lashes lowered. “Don’t tempt me like that. You were asking for me to do something drastic.”
He smiled then, making my brow arch. “I know.”
I sighed then, gazing back down at him. “You play with me like a puppet, do you understand that?”
His smile grew more wicked.
My eyes glowed red.
Oh, he understands that plenty.
“Alright,” I said then, “let’s get you cleaned up.”
“No, don’t move,” he complained then. “You’re warm.”
I gazed down at him in annoyance. “You’re giving in.”
“I didn’t say it,” he responded slyly.
“You mind as well,” I said then, smirking down at him. “It’s three words... I... love....”
“Chocolate,” he finished. “Yeah, you’re right. I, do, indeed, love chocolate.”
My lashes lowered.
He knows my game very well, and he’s been playing it this whole time, knowing my agenda.
“You’re already giving into me,” I told him then, trying to get him to cave.
He gazed up then, eyes glowing dangerously as he whispered, “So are you.”
“Excuse me?” I said then.
“You stalked me for weeks,” he stated then, smirking, “endlessly. And you kidnapped me, for one. Got my memories back, and then have been with me since. Now... that’s loyalty.”
“But you snuggled with me,” I stated then, “you follow me everywhere and let me change you.”
“You came to me in the first place,” he whispered darkly.
My eyes glowed in annoyance.
“I can do whatever the hell I want,” he said then, smirking. “As long as I don’t say it, I win.”
“Have you been playing this game these past two years?” I questioned.
“Oh, yes,” he said, smirking, “and it’s quite fun. You look so annoyed all the time.”
I just lowered my face closer to his. “What am I to do with you?”
He just kept the smile.
I then lightly ran my thumb along his wound, and he winced. “I see it hurts still.”
“You sound happy at the fact.”
“Yes, because you iritate me,” I stated.
He gazed up then, half-annoyed, half-amused.
“As long as you don’t say the words,” I repeated then, my smile coming back, “that is your statement, correct?”
“Yes,” he said, getting suspicious.
“I guess that’s it for me, too...” I said then, “so I can do whatever the hell I want.” I started running my hand along his chest, hearing his breath suck in. “As long as I don’t say the words,” I then whispered, “I win.”
“What are you doing?” he said then, face reddened.
“Winning,” I responded, going lower.
His breath became labored, and he tensed.
But he never stopped me.
Right as I reached the top of his shorts, I smirked and let go, sitting up.
He started gasping then, as if he’d been holding his breath.
I stood and brushed off his pants, seeing him stare up at me in shock.
“Didn’t expect that, did you?” I said then, smirking. “I am the master of games, after all. I tried to warn you.”
He just watched me.
My lashes lowered immediately. “Don’t play with me. I’m mean.”
