The prompt is, Scammer's Horror! You may write in any genre, fiction or not, as long as you mention a character who is horrified to find a scammer's message. It can be on their profile, they find out their boyfriend is one, a text message, or a friend's woes over being scammed. The sky's the limit!

I'm new to Penana, so I thought a contest might be a nice way to start out, while people here in the USA are preparing for Halloween on Oct 31.

Not from the USA? No problem! You might favor us with a story about Fall that deals with a scammer. It doesn't even have to be a Halloween story. If you're a romance writer, you can make it Valentine's Day. As long as there is a scammer in there somewhere to throw chaos into a character's life, you're good, no matter if your holiday is in a different season, or just a vacation trip!
