身為被選中前往希望之城一遊的幸運兒，姍姆一路上真是多災多難。先是開幕典禮前夕失火，然後是飛機飛錯機場，最後甚至連她的妹妹也神祕地昏倒了。原以為情況不會再更壞，沒想到...轟隆隆！突如其來的一場大地震，讓電梯墜落了，眾人被迫展開一場驚心動魄的電梯求生之旅。
