這是民國三十六年的二月底，阿勇、捲毛、夏子、小眉是住在台北的一群好朋友，各自有著不同的家庭背景，卻時常聚在一起在艱苦的日子裡找尋樂子。為了讓時常欺負人的軍人們嚐點教訓，阿勇決定和同伴尋找「惡作劇之靈」，卻只遇見一個啞巴算命仙。他透過符咒和眾人說明了天旨：上天講要拯救這座多難的島嶼，使「天龍之子」降世為人們帶來祝福！經過一番施咒，算命仙卻說阿勇就是天龍之子，並化為黑貓跟隨。幾人經歷如此怪異的事情後趕緊解散，但這塊土地卻將要發生更多大事。二十七日和二十八日，阿勇一群人都捲入和目睹正在發生的暴動事件，身邊親友接連淪為無辜的受害亡者，這一切和黑貓的能力似乎也有所關聯，而他們究竟要如何生存，天龍之子的真正意義又是什麼呢?
