You want her to be the brave knight

The dashing prince

The prophet

You want her to remember that

There was a time

All worshipped

All of us worshipped the Mother Goddess

All of us ended sacred-thought forces

You want her to see all the pain

In all the poor

The weakened

You want her to see all the plight

The imprisoned

Are faced with

You want her to see how we're all not free

How we laugh for them but cry secretly

But she's not the symbol of the hurting and poor

She's not the brave saviour that we've been hoping for

She's a symbol of the rich who feed themselves first
