Every second that I'm in my body my soul dies

And if my body rotted below my soul would rise

Above

The only truth of life is universal love

And I

Dream of

A world in which all people can love and be loved

Every second you look through my body my soul rots

Sure you say you're free but so many ones are bought

By you

And all the people you vow to be allied to

And those

You bought

They are all of my children, your people are not

Every second that you see me but you don't feel me

You're doing all you can to take from and own me

Yourself

But you don't know the darkness that I hide myself

And you

Are free

While so many people are still in slavery

It's funny how so many people

Talk about life and death

But if I met the person you thought I was

I'd fight her to my very last breath

It's funny how so many people

Say they're life when they're death

But if I held the strings like you think I do

You're the one who'd not have breath
