A laugh

A touch

A spark

You looked at me with chestnut eyes

I met yours with my blue ones

I had come to despise those eyes

But at one time I thought I had truly known them

Your laugh was warm

A honeyed voice

Like a gentle storm

The storm is no longer gentle

A brush of skin against skin

A hand to hold

Your fingers brushing my chin

I can't stand your touch now

Once upon a time

I was captivated by all of those things

By you

There was a spark

Your look

Your laugh

Your touch

Our spark

It all means nothing now

I can't stand you anymore

No more shared looks

No more laughter

No more touches

There's no longer a spark

There is nothing
