the look on her face and her letting go of my hand is a whisper

they'll hurt us if they see it. to them it is wrong. so we shall be quiet
I understand
but it still kinda hurts that I can only love you out loud under certain conditions.
so for now while we're here I will love you in stolen glances and the platonic touch of hands.
I will hug you when I see you because I cannot kiss your cheek
