Luna, a mischievous black-and-white kitten, loved playing with her favorite red ball. She would bat it around the house all day, her tiny paws sending it skittering across the floor. But one afternoon, something strange happened—the ball disappeared!

Luna searched everywhere. Under the couch, behind the curtains, even in the laundry basket, but the red ball was nowhere to be found. Frustrated, she meowed loudly, hoping someone would come to her rescue. Her owner, Mia, heard Luna’s cry and came over. “What’s wrong, Luna?” Mia asked, kneeling down to scratch behind Luna’s ears.

Luna led Mia to the spot where she had last seen the ball, her eyes pleading for help. Mia smiled, realizing what had happened. She grabbed a flashlight and pointed it under the couch, revealing the missing red ball stuck just out of reach.

With a quick swipe of her arm, Mia retrieved the ball and tossed it to Luna, who pounced on it immediately. Her little tail flicked with joy as she rolled on her back, hugging the ball close.

Luna had learned that sometimes, even a clever kitten needs a little help from a friend. But now, she was back to doing what she loved most—playing with her favorite red ball.
