是敵是友，是禍是福。在這永遠都是陰天的末日中，似乎沒有永遠的夥伴。貴族奴役囚犯，使得他們成為在核輻射下採礦的礦奴。

各家貴族掌握了核電廠，農夫要在陰天中種植農作物，必須擺置大量燈泡使農作物成長，因此會用農作物和貴族換電。

在這世界末日後，有些人因為承受太多核輻射死去，但是同時從地球和外星球也慢慢出現了哨兵嚮導，有些開始替各家貴族服務，也有些進入反抗軍。

種子圖書館是世界大戰前，各國準備的紙本書籍庫，以免人類文明滅絕後，要花大量時間重建文明，

每個貴族都渴望得到圖書館，讓自己的權勢成為地方之主。
