當一個人好不容易得到的幸福，被奪走後，還剩下什麼？

主角宋祈是個大學教授，父親在他還不懂事時便過世了，由母親獨自拉拔他長大。或許是老天的彌補，宋祈從小便聰明絕頂，更是在25歲便修完了雙博士學位，並得到大學教授的位置。

同時，他似乎成為了“意外”最鍾意的人，它總是一次又一次的纏上他。他的父親在服役時因意外去世；一場突如其來的重病，奪走了他母親的生命；在一次車禍中，他與男朋友斐然互換了靈魂；由於店家疏失造成的瓦斯氣爆，他失去了他男朋友。

陽光下的遇見，火焰中的離別。
