Anya was a slave captured in war from a neighbouring country, she was treated badly and the men tried to take advantage of her. One day she heard one of them talking about making her the dance girl, that day she decided her fate was in her hands.
At midnight when the tribesmen were asleep she took the chance and fled.
Soon she found herself trapped in the lonely, dreary desert where sandstorm could strike anytime. The only reassurance was that living with them and travelling she had memorised the path so it seemed easy for her to find her way.
The sand mountains acted as a shelter for the trapped girl who seeked freedom.
