　　「現在總統是民選了、國會亦是一人一票選出議員、­背後控操政府的大財團消失了，國家的主人的確已經是生於這片土地的人……但如今的一切都證明，這個所謂民主國家不過是個空殼！……」被束縛著的男人抵抗著持續加諸於其肉體與精神的折磨，用上僅存的力氣向面前的曲髮青年發出絕地的怒吼。

　　「我們的先輩與我們一開始都太天真，一次又一次以為愛與包容能感化那些『人』，然後一次又一次的重覆招致毀滅。我們從來都渴望能建立一個人人幸福的國度，奈何我們的家旁邊永遠躺著那頭永不安份的巨獸，你告訴我，請問如何一邊開門歡迎巨獸入屋、一邊又能保證屋內的人安全？以往每次打開門我們都傷亡慘重，最近一次更幾乎全家滅族，請問為何我們值得再一次重覆同樣的賭博？」曲髮青年抽了一口雪茄，白煙伴隨深長的嘆息散溢於黑暗的房間之中。

　　如果自保都無法做到，談何包容平等？

　　這從來是一個無可奈何的世界。
