　　不論如何，這個系列故事的虛構背景將發生在中西交雜—— 港城，她那個屬於過往和想象的壹捌卌（1840）年代至壹玖枠（1990）年代。

　　用了三年走上未知的大學，彷徨著，感覺就如用一輩子蒙眼行走。香港歷史和過去其實比想像中更意想不到，一百五十多年的歷史，對於世界的巨輪只不過是一個半世紀，比較影響西方文明深遠的希臘城邦時代更是差不多五倍之距。

　　我們站在這塊地上，同時經歷著過去塑造的未來，未來在我手上的現在。我感覺透過回顧過去，我們可以找到了自己在世界上的位置。

　　而不知不覺，我們已經走了很遠——

《九龍寨城篇》

@人物就一定程度借用了余兒的《九龍城寨三部曲》，主要是以電影版作基礎，以小說為補充。對話會追求正宗粵語，希望寫到拳拳到位的武打戲，也希望能夠呈現到舊時香港給大家。
