There are already advertisements about Christmas. The doctor says it's going to a close shave, and that he's still unsure about whether or not Dad will make it home in time for Christmas, but he's making a great recovery.

I came into his room today while the nurse was changing his bandages. The wounds were deep and red underneath, but that wasn't what scared me.
