阿文，一個普通的娛樂版記者，某天接到總編輯的命令，要到兇殺案現場進行採訪，因而被捲入這宗連環兇殺案中，更被懷疑他是連環兇殺案的連環殺手。

由於這宗案件轟動全港，所以政府內部已經決定，如果未能在七日內找出真兇，就會屈打成招，推阿文成為代罪羔羊。

為了洗脫嫌疑，阿文唯有依靠自己破案，但他只有七日時間，究竟他能否破解這宗連環兇殺案？

這宗連環兇殺案的死者，看似全無關係，為何真兇要殺死他們？到底背後所隱含的是甚麼的故事？
