Pawns is the 2nd Harper Jones novel, taking place in Wolf Hollow the summer after the traumatic events of Torment (available for pre-order with a publishing release date August 27, 2024 on Amazon) the fall before.

It's high tourist season and the mayor of Wolf Hollow has been brutally assassinated in his own home. As Harper Jones begins to investigate, the violence begins to rapidly escalate, and he must quickly determine if he's tracking a serial killer, or if their is a much more sinister plot unfolding that that could threaten the calm serenity of his seaside town. As events gather momentum, Harper's past rears it's head, and endangers everything he loves about Wolf Hollow, including Angie, his recently re-united ex-wife.
