世界原本是由神、半神、人共治，自絕地天通後，人與神再無直接交流。

人因此崇尚物質文明，失去靈性導致慾望不斷擴張，反而威脅到自己的身存空間。

至於神在不與人類接觸後，竟然也出現變異。原本居住於山海界無憂無慮的天神們，竟然有少部分開始屍化。

無啟國的姑業為了阻止好友屍化，踏上旅途尋求解方，卻意外發現更多不可說的秘密。
