you can kick you can scream 

And still it seems you'll

only fall deeper 

The depths only grow

As you slip and fall oh so very low

The chains are gone but the feeling is not 

as this monster has taken a new form 

I long for everything to go back

as it was 

But it only seems to ever get worse

As slip lower and lower
