故事發想於傳說地獄中的孟婆如果開一家店賣她的招牌湯品，那是什麼樣的滋味，為何能讓人類死後忘記憂愁煩心事？

所以你聽過孟婆湯嗎？據說逝去的人喝完湯就會忘卻塵世煩惱，而如果孟婆有前生，化身為一個平凡女孩的她又會是怎麼樣的存在呢？

一家位於忘川里，在廟宇後方經由老舊餐廳改裝而成的溫馨復古式餐館，使用一八果菜市場內隱藏店家「仙友雜貨店」每日新鮮食材製作而成的限定家常菜餚，如何勾勒出和不同客人之間的各種飯桌小故事。

文章裡面有著各種家常料理的製作方式，最後再附上孟婆最喜歡的牌卡，自創的戀愛詩籤
