This evening a big rainbow formed in the sky outside my window. A huge double one with really bright colours. It made me realize how fake they actually look. It's like some sort of projection in the sky. It's not attached to anything, just random colours without begin and andm yet seemingly hitting the ground. But nobody ever finds a pot of gold.
Of course, of course, I know enough of the science behind rainbows to understand how they form. We've all played with a prism in science class once. Still I like the idea that rainbows are some magical thing way more. It's just cool to fantasize about those things. Imagine the stories behind them and maybe even tie them into a story one day.
