自一管红色的藥劑落入人海後，城市每天都有市民變成嗜血的怪物。它們到處襲擊，把整座城市鬧得人心惶惶。

但面對如此狀況的政府卻嚴加管控，甚至對民眾實施宵禁令，企圖扼殺一切的證據。

整座城市被蒙上了一層暗紅色的陰影。

男主安得斯本是一名普通的大學生，在一次意外中被注入红色藥劑，繼而成為了其中一隻怪物。

但在機缘巧合之下他並沒有失去自我意識，而變異後的身體也被他視作賴以生存的資本。

被捲入了另一個世界的他，竟發現背後一切的線索都指向掌管城市經濟命脈的奥斯頓企業。

究竟红色藥劑是什麼，背後的陰謀又是什麼？而最後知道真相的安得斯會選擇抗戰到底，還是軟弱逃避？
