She leaned so close. So close. I could smell her. I expected brimstone and blood, but she smell of… lilies?
"Do you think you have what it takes?," she said and lifted my chin up with her finger. She stared straight into my eyes.
"You’re either on my side, by my side, or in my fucking way," she said and smiled wickedly. I swallowed hard. Her maroon skin was so close to mine. Her yellow eyes bore deep into my own. This was a Demon. A Hellish creature. Born of pure hatred and sin. A Destroyer of worlds and Murderer of man.
So why didn’t I fear her? Why didn’t I detect an ounce of malice. She was not evil, not to me. She may have acted it, but I could sense that deep inside there was no deep seated hatred or malice. And she was so beautiful! Her hair was worthy of any angel, her skin without any blemishes. The maroon tone fit just so perfectly with her black hair, and then her yellow eyes just contrasted with it, creating a unified whole that was absolutely stunning.
Her body was shapely, but not gross or unbalanced. Her face was so close to mine, I could almost taste her on my lips. I felt her hot breath on my skin. She looked so menacing, but… Why did I feel like this? My heart started beating fast and loud again, my breath shallow and quick.
We heard someone getting closer, both of our heads spun into that direction. She changed back to her human appearance between two heartbeats. I glanced sideways at her. She hadn’t moved an inch, she was so close to me. I stared at her lips and my body felt odd. I really gotta figure out what all these feelings meant. I guess this meant that I was terrified?
My lips were slightly quivering and I was shivering slightly, so that must have been it, right? Right? Anyway, the strangers turned the corner and stared at us. They were a group of five male students. They saw us, then grinned widely. One of the whistled at us. The Demon stuck up her hand with her middle finger pointing up.
"This is my asshole antenna," she said. "You’re coming in loud and clear." The guys looked at the whistling one and grinned at him.
"Feisty, are we," one of them said. "It looks hot, can we watch?," said another.
"See this?," the Demon said and pointed at her face. "This is my ‘I don’t fucking care’ -face. Now fuck off." The guys chuckled and walked closer. I felt something else. No, this was more like fear, I wondered what the feeling before was…?
"Aaawww, don’t be such a spoilsport," one of the guys said. "We can offer you much more than she can," the other said.
She looked so pissed off, her eyebrows almost met in the middle I and felt her twitch.
"See, there’s the thing," she said. "I didn’t give a fuck about you yesterday. I don’t give a fuck about you today, and in all honesty, I probably won’t give a fuck about you tomorrow either. Now, scram, kids," she said and scowled at them. I felt the small build-up of hellish power within her. She was about to do something bad.
"I seriously want to punch you in your face," she said and her voice was a tad lower, and I could her the power behind it. Hell was scary, but for some reason, I wasn’t afraid anymore.
"I suggest you take a fucking hike before I lose to my desires," she said and licked her lips. "And I’m very, very bad at that…" she said quietly.
The guys took a step back in fear, their expressions changed from wicked to afraid. They turned around and fled. She chuckled at them. I felt like I was melting inside for some reason. I realized my lips were partially open and my breathing was heavy.
I straightened up, but at the exact same instant she turned her face back towards me. Our lips touched and it was like electricity was running through me. Her lips were moist and hot. A sound escaped my lips that I didn’t know how to describe. She straightened up and drew backwards, startled. Her cheeks flushed deep red and she stared at me.
