Anthony strolled into Naomi's room stopping on his tracks as she shrieked "Anthony!" He heard her scream
"What?!" he yelled, his brows furrowed, eyes moving frantically around the room.
"You can't just walk in like that couldn't you knock?" She inquired, clutching the towel to her as droplets fell from her hair onto her ankle.
His brow rose, bewildered at her words "Excuse me?"
"You should have knocked!" She repeated, a tinge of red appearing on her cheeks.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" He snapped. Fire blazed in his eyes as he glared at her "Last time I checked this is my house"
"Yes. But this is my room"
"If I burn this house down your room will slowly but surely go down with it! Never in your entire life do you speak to me like that again!" He yelled, as he grit his jaw taking a step towards her.
She took a step back. His eyes left her face and landed on the towel wrapped around her, and he rolled his eyes
"What do you think you're trying to hide I've seen way better than that" His words were cold and as she looked up at him so were his eyes. She didn't recognize the man that stood before her.
Taken aback by his words, she clutched tighter onto her towel taking another step backwards trying to maintain a good distance between them.
His eyes were too intense to stare into. They were not the normal green eyes that she was accustomed to. It seemed as if they'd once been concealed, camouflaged and now they were a dangerous pigment of green. They were not the same peaceful green eyes she was used to they They scared her, tormented her, revealing things that she wasn't brave enough to uncover, unspoken secrets that she knew would haunt her for nights to come. They were not the same, it was if they were once hidden and had now been uncovered with blatant defeat she dropped her gaze to the floor.
"Can you please just leave. I just want to dress up. Please" she whispered, her voice cracking in the process she blinked the tears away refusing to allow them escape. She had no clue whether the tears were from frustration or just plain sadness.
Why could she never find sincere people that truly cared for her. Why was she treated badly by everyone around her. Why did people have to be so fake? Could they not just reveal their true selves from the beginning what was the point in lying. Why couldn't she encounter a sincere human being at least just once in her life.
Naomi missed Anastasia, her best friend from Helslip, they had been together through thick and thin; two peas in a pod. Anastasia was the only person who was actually really sincere and true the rest were all wolves in sheep clothing. Naomi missed Anastasia's hugs, the arms of her best friend were like cocoons hiding and shielding her from the dangers of the world she would trade anything to be in Anastasia's warm embrace.
Anywhere but here.
The treacherous tear dropped from her lid's, she did nothing to fight it away, allowed it pour down her cheeks.
In an instant is fingers were on her face, his thumb wiping away the tear that had escaped. "Don't cry, Mon Amour" she felt him press a gentle kiss to her lips.
She flinched back, a whimper escaping her as her legs bumped into the edge of the bed.
Anthony groaned as he stepped back. He turned his back to her as he ran his hand through his hair. Squeezing his eyes shut as he paced back and forth.
He paced the room, his nose flaring. Then he turned to stare at her "Why do you always do that? Every time I try to get close to you, you move away from me. What is the matter with you?"
He paced again, his legs marching back and forth in long strides filled with antipathy. "Anthony please" Naomi brought her palms together "Just leave. I want to get dressed. Please"
"Shut up! Shut your mouth!"
"Oh god"
"Is it that I'm not good enough for you?'' his brows rose as his eyes twinkled "'Oh. Ok. I get it now ... is is there someone else."
Naomi's eyes widened slightly, and he scoffed in disbelief
''So, its true. There is someone else'' he shook his head as he chuckled humorlessly ''you've been rejecting me because of some bastard.'' he scoffed again, chuckling in the process. '
''Anthony please. Its not like that''
''Dont you even try to lie to me. Is there someone in your life yes or no?'' she remained quiet as her eyes lingered on the floor unable to gaze into his eyes. ''I'll take your silence as a yes. Whats his name?''
''W-who?''
''The son of a pig. What. Is. His. Name.''
''He-his name is James''
"James who?''
''James Smith'' she whispered
''And this James fella is your boyfriend'' she nodded hesitantly ''Are you too exclusive?'' she nodded again. He growled; a peculiar sound that made Naomi's ears ring
Agatha walked in; her face creased in concern. Her eyes interlocked with those of Naomis' and she witnessed the confusion, the loneliness, the frustration swimming in the little girl's orbs "What's going on?" She inquired, turning her attention to Anthony who stood glaring at Naomi. His eyes were red, and his hands were clutched in fists, his body set in a predatory stance.
Like a lion stalking its prey ready to pounce.
And all this energy was directed on the little girl. Panic rose in Agatha's chest. Her mother hen instinct kicking in as panic settled in the depth of her heart.

(Anthony what's going on?) She inquired of him, he paid her no heed as his bloodshot eyes that were laden with antipathy stayed glued on Naomi. "Anthony. What iz going on?!"
Without another word Anthony turned around and walked out the room banging the door in the process.
Agatha walked up to Naomi and engulfed her in her arms. Naomi laid her head on the woman's chest as she struggled to control her racing heart. Inhaling and exhaling in an attempt to calm herself down. Agatha's hands ran up and down the little girls hair. "It's ok. It's ok. Let it all out, my dear"
Naomi buried her face in the woman's chest, her hands still tightly holding onto her towel. She inhaled the scent of baked bread that seemed to dance around Agatha, invading her nostrils. As irritating as the scent was; it smelt like home. Something, Naomi knew she didn't have. Finally after what seemed to be a lifetime of holding back she allowed the tears pour from her eyes onto the ground. With a faint smile she held tighter onto Agatha.

Anthony paced back and forth. His hands behind his back, his brows meeting at the ends. He gazed over the balcony at the garden below...
"Sir you called for me" Anthony turned around.
"Bradley" he nodded in acknowledgement "Yes. I called for you. I have a task for you"
"And what will this task be sir?"
"I want you to bring a friend to me"
"A friend?"
"Yes. A friend. A very, very close friend of mine. So, so dear to my heart"
"But Sir, I've never seen you refer to someone as your friend"
Anthony chuckled "Oh Bradley. Don't you know that strangers are friends we've never met"
"..." Bradley remained silent as he pondered the words of his boss "Sir, pardon me for asking, but do you have anything special planned for this..." he paused, cleared his throat "...friend"
Anthony chuckled as he strolled over to the coffee table, picking up a glass filled with red wine "Curiosity killed the cat Bradley" he sipped from the glass, shaking it's contents "But if you must know, I want to have a little feast with him. Nothing special." He chuckled "Just a little gathering of two new friends. But we'll just have to hope that nothing goes wrong accidentally..." Suddenly the glass fell from his grip, shattering onto the floor with a piercing sound. It's contents spilled onto the floor.
The red wine spreading like a river with no borders. It seeped into the white carpet, staining it. A shade of crimson red emerged onto the rug like the blood of a lamb for sacrifice.
"Oops" Anthony muttered. His gaze was cold as he gazed at the stained rug. "Get someone to clean this up" he ordered as he strolled to the door.
"Sir" Bradley called
Anthony stopped, without turning back he questioned "What?"
"This man, sirs friend, does he have a name?"
A sinister smirk escaped onto his features "Yes. Yes he has a name. It's James. James Smith." The smirk dropped from his face as his eyes grew cold once more "Find him and bring him to me" He walked out banging the door in the process.413Please respect copyright.PENANAOKrqLJ5uT4
