What if…

I give up 

What if… 

I just let go

And let the darkness 

Completely consume me 

What if…

Instead of trying so hard 

I decide to hide away instead 

What if…

Everything wasnt as it seems 

What if…

Deep down inside i 

Was nothing more then 

A broken mess 

If…

Deep down inside nothing 

Was ok 

If…

Everything seems fine 

Because I keep my head held up high 

This smile never faltered

But deep down inside everything 

Is just so revolting 

My mind…

Is a war zone 

My soul…

Is an abyss

How does one even end up feeling like this 

Despite my  lame attempts at convincing myself, I’m fine 

I can’t seem to fool my mind 

What if…

I just disappear one day 

And never return 

What if…

I’ve finally decided to just 

Give up
