2076年，聯邦國因第三次世界大戰而分崩離析，地球上的人類因感染大量放射性元素而衍生出三種性別，分別為Alpha、Beta、Omega。

當社會主流習慣以生理性別分工──體力更好的Alpha擔當大部分工作的管理層、Beta大多游走於勞動力底層、體力最弱的Omega則被安排在家擔當生育的賢妻良母，這是適當的合理分工，還只是延伸出有別於男女分工的父權制度？

有一天，身為Beta的蔣燃臨時受命回到南部軍情處接受總司令尹笙安排的秘密任務，暗地裡觀察性平會副主席莫政霖的舉動，並取代其位置擔當了性平會的主席。

蔣燃與莫政霖，簡直是天地之別，一個從小接受父親蔣辛的嚴苛訓練而長成硬朗性格的Beta，一個從小於福利院長大並在他人眼中的懦弱受氣包Alpha，一個陽剛一個陰柔，一主一副，誰也看誰不順眼。直到一天接到一名被家暴的Omega的求助，兩人不得不一起合作解難……

性別到底僅代表生理結構，還是強弱階級之分？
