I saw someone today who had your exact walk. That slightly too-fast pace that makes everyone else feel like they’re standing still. I almost called out to them before I realized it wasn’t you. It was eerie for a second, like seeing a ghost of you in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It got me thinking about the little things that make people unmistakably themselves. The way you always crack your knuckles before reaching for the pen, or how your hands hover midair for a second before you start gesturing in a conversation. The way your expression shifts when you’re holding back a laugh. Just a flicker at the corners of your mouth before you give in.
Maybe I should start a list of everyone’s habits. Imagine a whole index of quirks and patterns xD
Ten entries, easy. Michael’s timing for his tongue clicking would be fun to write about. Though I’d have to find a way to describe that specific way you tilt your head when you’re trying to figure out if someone is full of it or not hahaha
I’d ask if you could spot any of mine, but I already know you’d have a whole report ready.
Let’s compare notes next time.
